BOREALIS

Borealis is Aurora Rocketry’s first ever rocket, designed to test core subsystems. It features a commercial solid motor and a CO₂‑based dual‑deployment recovery system. Its aluminum airframe, optimized nosecone, and fin geometry ensure low drag and stable flight. Borealis also integrates a simple, first‑generation avionics board.

NEMESIS

Aurora’s first competition rocket, Nemesis, is a single-stage vehicle, powered by a commercial solid motor, designed to carry a 1kg payload up to an apogee of 3000 m and to return safely to the ground thanks to a recovery system. The rocket is designed with reliability, ease of maintenance and assembly in mind. The aerostructure ensures stability and integrity, housing the propulsion system, electronics bay, recovery system, and our payload, Aether.

ATLAS

Atlas is the result of everything we’ve learnt from previous projects, by addressing past data, limitations and operational challenges. The airframe now features lightweight glass-fiber composite, reducing mass while enhancing structural performance. A newly developed active airbrake system improves apogee accuracy, and both the recovery and the electronics bays have been redesigned for greater modularity, reliability and accessibility. At its core, Atlas is powered by a solid motor and equipped with our in-house developed avionics.
